welcome to Effectual Mark Flügel

Since April 1, Mark Flügel has joined Effectual as Managing Director and Head of Business Development for Germany and Austria. In his role, he will further expand Effectual’s institutional and wholesale client business and strengthen the company’s market presence in the DACH region.

Mark brings more than 20 years of experience in asset management and previously served in a senior sales role at Robeco Germany, where he played a key part in scaling the institutional and wholesale distribution business. Before that, he gained extensive capital markets expertise at DZ BANK in Debt Capital Markets and at Cantor Fitzgerald International in London within the Global Trading Strategies Team.

With his strong sales background, deep capital markets knowledge and entrepreneurial mindset, Mark adds strategic depth and fresh momentum to Effectual’s expansion. Together, we look forward to bringing Effectual’s externality-based investment framework to a broader range of institutional investors, asset owners and distribution partners across Germany and Austria.
