Effectual welcomes Julia Herzog as Senior Associate Research

Since July 1, Julia Herzog has joined Effectual’s Research Team as a Senior Associate. Through her previous roles at Munich Re, PwC and Universal Investment, Julia brings both strong market expertise and a systematic understanding of how financial institutions define, measure, and operationalize sustainability in practice.

Her research focuses on the economic drivers of long-term efficiency beyond asset classes, regulation and short-term metrics. She examines how externalities and real economic effects influence value creation, risk profiles and capital allocation within modern financial markets. With her analytical mindset and interdisciplinary background, she will deepen our work on externalities, monetization of real effects, and efficiency-based valuation, strengthening the methodological foundation of our approach.
